'Stylish Vittles: All the Way' is going to be a month early, but not because I wanted it! My brand manager at Diamond got a little too eager and 'decided' that he would put 'All the Way' in the January PREVIEWS instead of in the Febraury issue like I requested. 'All the Way' will ship on time, there will be no problem with that. The real difficulty in the situation is that because the January PREVIEWS will hit retailers at the end of December, my pre-promo time has been cut REAL short. I just graduated from grad school on Friday, and my plan all along had been to use the end of December and part of January to finish up my promo material and get it out there. Looks like I'll be busting my ass real hard to get some stuff out there ahead of time.
Working as hard as I can (especially now that work will have slowed down due to the semester's end) I will be finishing up one promo poster I already had going, but will also put finishing touches on a cover teaser and so forth. I'm going to start scanning artwork next week (I get to borrow our big scanner from work so I can do it in the comfort of my studio instead of going into work everyday over break) and will get up preview chapters from 'All the Way' as soon as I can.
Hang in there with me. I'm very excited about 'All the Way' as it gets in deeper and begins to pull on things which go deeper than the 'mere' love story begun in 'I Met a Girl.' This one is even better.
I've got to go put my laundry in the dryer.
