Got a nice review in the hometown paper - the Star Tribune. Here's the link to the online version. If you happen to live in Minnesota and get the Star Tribune it was in this Sunday's Arts and Entertainment section - a nice big spread with a well chosen page from Fare thee Well, along with a review of fellow Minneapolitan Sam Hiti's new book as well.

OOOOHHHH!!!!I know that Fare thee Well just came out, but for me it was finished way back in January and since then I've been hard at work on this new series: Nothing Better, and I'm very excited about it. So excited in fact that I'm posting a preview of the cover of the first issue here! The first issue is done, the second issue is almost done, the third issue is written and I've started writing the fourth issue.

Nothing Better will be solicited as soon as I finish up the third issue so I'll have a nice cushion started - I'm expecting it to be in the fall - September or October, somewhere in there. In the meantime, I will be printing up preview versions of each issue to take on tour to conventions this summer. The lucky folks who see me at the MoCCA Art Fest in NYC next month will get the chance to see Nothing Better #1 first. By the time we head to San Diego, the second issue should be finished, and if the summer isn't too hectic I could have the third ready for WizardWorld Chicago. When the book debuts it will come out every six weeks - and if it proves to be successful it shall continue on that schedule.

I gave some thought to starting a new site just focused on Nothing Better, going so far as to buying 'nothing-better.com,' but I decided it would be simpler to keep using this site as my home on the interweb. Keep tuned for more updates - I'm actually toying with the idea of posting NB#1 on a page-by-page basis.
